Welcome to the City of Worland, Wyoming!

Pioneer Park: 'Fresno' by Cambia Talbot

Worland, the county seat of Washakie County, is located within the Big Horn Basin and along the Big Horn River in beautiful Northwestern Wyoming. We are fortunate to have easy access to the Big Horn Mountains to the east, the Absaroka Mountains to the west and the Wind River Mountains to the south including the Wind River Canyon. A community hub for the 5,250 people who reside within the city limits, Worland has a proud heritage of initiative, innovation and just plain grit. A great city to raise a family, Worland offers excitement for everyone.
