The Community Services Commission consists of three members of the city council who are appointed by the mayor. It was established to assist the Mayor, Council, Chief of Police, Airport Manager, Community Development Director and Building Inspector in the operations of the police department, airport, streets and buildings. The chairman of each commission shall meet during preparation of the budget and at other times when requested to discuss budget or finance issues. It consists of three council members appointed by the mayor and they meet between the 1st and 2nd council meetings at varying times and dates.
